Terms and Conditions

1. Services

J&A Overhead Door provides residential and commercial garage door installation, repair, maintenance, and related services throughout Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.

We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion and to modify or discontinue any service offering without prior notice.

2. Estimates and Pricing

• Free estimates are provided for replacement and installation projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days.
• Final pricing may vary from estimates if the scope of work changes after an in-person assessment.
• Diagnostic/service call fees may apply for repair visits and will be disclosed before work begins.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Warranties

J&A Overhead Door warrants its labor and workmanship for a period communicated at the time of service. Manufacturer warranties apply to parts as provided by the manufacturer. Warranties do not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Issues from work performed by parties other than J&A Overhead Door.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

• We ask that cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours in advance.
• We will make every effort to arrive within the scheduled service window. Delays may occur.
• For emergency service, response times may vary.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate information when requesting service.
• You agree to ensure safe and reasonable access to the work area.
• You are responsible for securing pets or valuables before our technicians arrive.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, J&A Overhead Door shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hampden County, Massachusetts.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.

9. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in through our website, digital intake or Google forms, or other consent methods, you agree to receive SMS text messages from J&A Overhead Door regarding appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, service updates, technician arrival notifications, estimates, invoices, customer support, and review requests.
